Melin Homes is inviting suppliers to participate in market engagement to express there interest in our commercial cleaning contract. Melin Homes is procuring a contract to carry out cleaning services to internal and external communal areas (staircases, corridors, walkways, lobbies, lifts, communal rooms) of blocks of flats, sheltered accommodation and offices locations across 14 sites. These sites are split over 5 Lots, as set out below Lot 1 – Torfaen Lot 2 – Monmouthshire Lot 3 – Blaenau Gwent Lot 4 – Newport Lot 5 - Powys The contract will start April 2023 with the tender published July/August 2022. Lot 1: Melin Homes is publishing this PIN to inform the market of its future intentions regarding the above contract. At the time of inviting this tender, Melin Homes anticipates that TUPE will apply to this contract in respect of the current Service Providers’ employees who are assigned to undertaking the Services. Melin Homes gives no undertaking regarding any information provided. To fully understand the obligation of TUPE, Melin Homes’ recommends that Applicants seek legal advice.
