Tender description

<p>To support the implementation of a Test and Learn that is designed to deliver a Sustainable Liverpool Pathway to Work model across 12 secondary schools (yrs 9-11). 1.2 Scope Liverpool City Council (LCC) is leading an Education Improvement Plan (EIP). This Plan is intended to improve outcomes for young people across all phases of the learning journey. Priority 5 of this Plan is focussed on ensuring all children and young people are equipped to engage in lifelong learning with clear pathways towards successful employment. The full Education Improvement Plan can be found here: https://liverpool.gov.uk/media/1359931/education-improvement-plan-2021.pdf A key action within Priority 5 of the Plan is to engage business and provide inspiration and the support for those more at risk of becoming NEET: &bull; Engage businesses (local, national, international) to increase the access of schools and colleges to work placements, apprenticeships, and supportive internships; &bull; Develop systematic links and system change between schools and businesses/employers; &bull; Develop the employability skills of the young people to better prepare them for the world of work with the end goal of improving the employment outcomes for young people; &bull; Provide the young people with a clear understanding of different occupations and the routes to employment; &bull; Help develop a sustainable delivery model in schools using the existing career structures that can be scaled up and delivered across all Liverpool schools; &bull; Improve employability and employment outcomes for young people; &bull; Develop teaching practitioners&rsquo; skills to include and contextualise employability into lessons/curriculae.</p> Keywords: Education, Consultancy
