Ecology Framework

Tender description

Gentoo Group will soon be approaching the market to procure a Framework of Ecological Consultancies to assist in its Asset Investment Programme. The vast majority of the work will require the Consultants to conduct both dawn and dusk activity surveys to Gentoo Group's housing stock to ascertain whether nesting creatures, such as bats or birds, are present. The surveys will be required to be completed prior to commencement of re-roofing programmes or other works which may risk disturbance to nests. In addition, general consultancy services around protection of species will also be required to ensure Gentoo and its supply chain remain up to date regarding its obligations for protection of various wildlife. The Framework will run for a period of 4 years, commencing in May 2022 until May 2026.
