This is a PIN/ Request for Information to potential service providers to deliver internal & external digital signage and services to South Dublin County Council to include such use in various reception areas, libraries, Local Enterprise Offices, canteens etc. & public spaces outside. Lot 1: This is a PIN/ Request for Information to potential service providers to deliver internal & external digital signage and services to South Dublin County Council to include such use in various reception areas, libraries, Local Enterprise Offices, canteens etc. & public spaces outside. Detailed Description: SDCC are considering tendering for the delivery of internal and external digital signage and services. Key features of the system to include: •Option for various screen dimensions depending on setting •Option for touch screen capability •Option for kiosk capability •Option for external digital signage including portable signage •Licensing for all associated software products •Fully functional cloud-based CMS with an option for supplier to update content as a service •Automated operating system and application software updates •Proactive regime to counteract ICT security risks •Full support including helpdesk for all hardware and associated software •Energy saving/reducing features •Installation and commissioning incl. all parts and labour Any documents contained within the Prior Information Notice are indicative only and may be subject to change prior to the formal release of the tender. Companies are requested to supply details of options available for the effective delivery of this equipment. Brochures etc are also welcome in electronic format. Project timetable: •Dec / early Jan 2023 for PIN engagement with SDCC & possible solutions providers •Tender to be published, responses to be evaluated & award made in February 2023 •Delivery of first equipment March 2023 Type: •Supply, installation and commissioning of equipment, services South Dublin County Council would welcome input in advance of the tender process.
