Tender description

To perform testing on up to a total of 400 cosmetic products to verify compliance with the above-mentioned Regulations (and any amendments to these): 2.1 Skin Lighteners Determination of concentration of the following restricted substances in one hundred (100) skin lightener to establish compliance with the maximum concentration limits specified in Annex III (restricted substances) of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. - Mercury and Hydroquinone and - See section 2.5 Labelling assessment 2.2 Teeth Whiteners Determination of concentration of the following restricted substances in one hundred (100) teeth whiteners to establish compliance with the maximum concentration limits specified in Annex III (restricted substances) of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. - Hydrogen peroxide and - See section 2.5 Labelling assessment 2.3 Hair / Eyelash dyes Determination of concentration of the following restricted substances in one hundred (100) hair/eyelash dyes to establish compliance with the maximum concentration limits specified in Annex III (restricted substances) of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. - P-Phenylenediamine and - See section 2.5 Labelling assessment 2.4 Lipstick / Lip Gloss Determination of concentration of the following restricted substances in one hundred (100) lipstick / lip gloss to establish compliance with the maximum concentration limits specified in Annex III (restricted substances) of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. - Antimony (Sb) - Arsenic (As) - Cadmium (Cd) - Lead (Pb) - Mercury (Hg) and - See section 2.5 Labelling assessment 2.5 Labelling assessment Visual check according to regulation o https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016R0425&from=ENArt 19 1.
