NOISE BARRIERS - Earthworks, construction and installation - High Speed 2 (HS2)

Tender description

This package of works will consist of but not limited to: • Earthworks, including excavation and Backfill work • Drilling and pouring of piles • Formwork and pouring of concrete bedding • Formwork, reinforcement and pouring of pile caps • Installation of ground beams • Supply and installation of posts • Installation of precast panels (*), • Supply and installation of acoustic doors with locking system • Drainage in the noise barriers area. • Installation of concrete acoustic panels in the top of the viaduct parapets (*) Absorptive panels with or without concealed posts / Reflective panels with or without concealed posts / Cranked panels with or without concealed posts / Mixed panels with absorptive and reflective with or without concealed posts. BBV has developed its fabrication strategy considering that the fabrication of all these precast panels, ground beams and concrete acoustic panels for parapets will be done Off-Site (panels and ground beams free issued to the chosen contractor); with a manufacture process managed and carried out by the supply chain in full collaboration with Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV), from the fabrication strategy definition stage to the delivery of precast panels, ground beams and concrete acoustic panels for parapets to site. Additional information: The tender package will be issued by way of the BBV Jaggaer tendering system and when in tender all communications (queries, requests and supply of information) will be progressed through the system portal. This will allow for control and auditability throughout the duration of the tender period. The preferred contractor from the tender will be required to be Constructionline gold accredited before being awarded and getting into contract
