Money Management for Vulnerable Adults

<p>Trafford Council is seeking a second provider to provide support to vulnerable adults by way of managing an individual’s personal finances via an Appointeeship, in accordance with the gov.uk guidance, where a Social Care Assessment has determined that the individual cannot manage their personal finances themselves due to the lack of mental capacity or physical disability, and there is no family member to undertake this role on their behalf. This could include Trafford funded clients who live out of the borough.</p> <p>The Council are also looking for a provider to refer clients and their families in to that do have mental capacity but are looking for day to day financial management support due to a physical disability.</p> Keywords: money management, vulnerable adults, social care assessment, DWP, Appointeeship, personal finances
