The wider UK maritime sector accounts for £14.7bn of GDP. An important element of this is a strong and vibrant UK Ship Register, which is well recognised throughout the shipping world.  London International Shipping Week 2023 will be a significant year in the events history with the further launch and showcase of the UK Maritime offer, with its unique networking opportunities for leaders across all sectors of the international shipping industry, is held bi-annually and is organised in association with the Department for Transport as well as other maritime-related organisations.  It is important the UK Shipping Concierge has a high profile at this singular London-based shipping event to demonstrate our prominence within the market and to show that Great Britain is open for business. The industry will be in recovery phase given the Maritime recovery route map (published 23 June 2022). The UK has some strong messages and stories to tell on the support given to ship owners and seafarers worldwide, bolstering the position of the UK maritime offer.
