Tender description

Wirral Council has received funding from the former PHE for delivery of increased Inpatient Detox beds for Cheshire and Merseyside in medically managed services. This additional capacity will work with the existing Wirral Council Senior PH Manager leading on this specific project and with the Cheshire & Merseyside Substance Misuse Commissioners. As part of this specific project additional inpatient detox beds will be commissioned and made accessible for placements to the nine Cheshire & Merseyside local authorities. Establishing block contracts for such provision with residential projects that are most frequently used by the nine Cheshire & Merseyside areas will be a priority.
