Gift Vouchers – Beat the Peak

ESB Networks is developing creative, impactful and cost-effective mitigations, playing our part in supporting Irish consumers’ continuity of supply, reputational and economic security, and confidence in reliable supplies of electricity. A number of initiatives have been established to close the gap identified, and one of these is; • Beat the Peak Domestic - a nationwide domestic behavioural demand response campaign, promoting and rewarding customers who reduce demand during peak demand events, testing a mixture of personal, community and broader pro-social incentives. This campaign will be supported by digital elements including the provision of targeted insights into customers’ electricity demand. Lot 1: ESB Networks is developing creative, impactful and cost-effective mitigations, playing our part in supporting Irish consumers’ continuity of supply, reputational and economic security, and confidence in reliable supplies of electricity. A number of initiatives have been established to close the gap identified, and one of these is for participants will receive a financial incentive by way of a digital gift voucher for being involved in the programme and taking action and recording what action they have taken when peak events occur. As this is a national campaign the financial incentive has to be widely useable across the country. To encourage participation this financial incentive has to be spendable on cost of living goods (everyday items).
