Tender description

The buildings are located in the grounds of Glen Gardens, Filey North Yorkshire adjacent to a boating lake and children’s play area. The buildings are made up of a popular 1970’s Café and attached toilet block. To the rear of the café is a two storey storage building with rendered walls and pitched slate tiled roof. Attached is a single storey building with a concrete flat roof. All three buildings are suffering from various degrees of timber rot and general deterioration of the external envelop. The required works briefly comprises the repair of the following elements: 1. The repair and renovation of all external timber work generally to all three buildings. 2. The full repair of the pitched slated roof of the storage building 3. The repair and renewal of the flat concrete roof and recovering to the storage building 4. Repair and rendering of the storage building 5. Removal of asbestos as determined within the surveys 6. Full external redecoration of all three buildings
