Tender description

The Broker will be required to provide a number of key service elements under this Contract. These are; Element 1 – Provision of general advice in relation to insurance. Element 2 – Providing advice on the insurance requirements necessary for inclusion within Contracts to be awarded by the Client. Element 3 – Providing advice to the Client during the tender cycle. Element 4 – Completing compliance checks to assure the Client that the specified insurance requirements are met by the relevant party i.e. tenderer during a procurement competition. Element 5 – Ongoing monitoring to ensure that the required insurances as set out in the contractual documents are maintained by the relevant party i.e. successful tenderer following the completion of a procurement competition. When checks or advice are requested by any Client, the Broker shall exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence. Advice provided via this contract will in the main relate to either Construction or Supplies and Services type projects. Where specialist advice is required, for example Marine Insurance, the Broker will be required to source the required expertise and manage the provision of the advice to the Client in accordance with this contract. The Broker will be remunerated for this service using the standard pricing model.
