Tender description

<p>Election services over 3 periods, 2023/2024 and 2025 The supplier will be appointed to act as Returning Officer for the main Trust elections for 2023, 2024 and 2025 (as outlined in the election timetable). This should include a provision for by-elections if the Trust falls below the minimum number per constituency, with the possible extension of the contract for a further year after the end date. The duties of the Returning Officer are specified in detail in the Trust’s constitution/Model Election Rules for Foundation Trusts (Appendix 1) but will include: • validation of the list of members eligible to vote supplied by the Trust, • printing of a notice of election • printing and distribution of nomination reminder postcards as required • printing and distribution of nomination papers as required, • validation of nomination papers, • printing and distribution of: o ballot papers, o declarations of identity, o return envelopes, • validation and counting of returned ballot papers, • reporting the results of the election in writing to the Trust.</p> Keywords: Election services
