Tender description

The DES – Digital Core Team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (the Authority), intends to run a Competitive Procurement under The Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations. The contract is for the Service for Auditing and Certification for ISO27001 and will have a value of £170,000 ex VAT. DE&S has an Executive Board Level transformation milestone to certify its Corporate IT to the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 27001:2013 standard by the end of October 2022. The requirement is to enable DE&S to maintain ISO27001:2013 certification of its Corporate IT obtained prior to October 2022. To meet this objective, the Contractor is required to a. Formally assess DE&S against the ISO27001:2013 standard; b. Issue and maintain ISO27001:2013 certification against the DE&S Corporate IT for three (3) years. c. Over the period of the certification the requirement is to visit MOD Abbey Wood and all remote sites over the three year period. d. As a security requirement the auditors need to hold SC Clearance from UKSV e.
