Kirklees Council are holding an Engagement Event for Alternative Provision Providers 7/12/2022 Please see the attached and register by 6/12/2022 Following an independent review of Alternative Provision in 2021 and much feedback from across the system, we are pleased to now be in a position to move forward with a refreshed AP offer in Kirklees. The vision around Alternative Provision in Kirklees is: • To develop a clear pathway of support, across a graduated response • Offer greater opportunities for early intervention • Ensure sufficiency of specialist places available • Deliver from settings across Kirklees ensuring a better geographical spread across the Local Authority. We want to build on some of the strong Alternative Provision already in place and we anticipate that the new, improved pathway will be delivered by some of our existing providers, new providers, and the wider school system.
