Single Building Assessment(s) for Fire Safety in Scotland

Tender description

The Scottish Government have made a committed to provide support and remediation where risks, due to unsafe cladding systems on external walls, have been identified. The Single Building Assessment (SBA) programme has been introduced and will either carry out or support fully funded safety assessments to determine domestic multi-occupancy buildings with a fire safety risk. The assessment will identify the repairs needed to make buildings safe. In order to establish guarantee of Ministerial commitments Scottish Government will be hosting a remote Suppliers Event on the 14th December 2022 at 10am. The Suppliers Event will be a great opportunity for potential suppliers to obtain an overview of requirement, minimum qualifications required to enter field. The Suppliers Event will help the Scottish Government to understand the suppliers market in greater detail and potential number of interested suppliers within industry prior to publishing Dynamic Purchasing System. Lot 1: Scottish Government are looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System to host a bank of qualified suppliers to provide support and remediation where risks, due to unsafe cladding systems on external walls, have been identified.
