REQUEST FOR EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES EAT THE STREETS 2022

Dublin City Council’s Climate Action Team is seeking tenders for event management services to deliver the Eat the Streets Festival on Saturday September 17th 2022 at Collins Barracks or a similar outdoor location. We are seeking an event management company to work with Dublin City Council’s Climate Action Team and appointed consultant to develop and deliver the Eat the Streets Festival 2022. This festival will be free, with an estimated attendance of less than 5,000. This event will be free, however participation numbers will be dependent on government guidelines for Covid-19 at the time. Restrictions will also determine layout of event and whether a ticketing system is required to manage numbers Dublin City Council’s Climate Change Action Plan requires Dublin City Council to create a Stop Food Waste Campaign in conjunction with the promotion and development of a training programme associated with the circular economy. To address this action Dublin City Council is committed to engaging citizens on the topic of food and climate change through the Eat the Streets Festival. We are seeking an event management company to work with Dublin City Council’s Climate Action Team and our appointed consultant in developing the programme of activities that are aligned with national, regional and local policies, programmes and initiatives, such as the Dublin City Climate Action Plan 2019-2024, while furthering the dialogue on food policy as it pertains to climate action and the city.
