Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH) - Heating & Cooling Project Together with Office Refurbishment Works, Nursery Works and Staff Lounge Works at CUMH on Cork University Hospital Campus

Tender description

The project scope comprises: - Heating & Cooling Project within the CUMH Building. - Office Refurbishment Project. - Nursery Refurbishment Project. - Staff Lounge Works. Works will be completed within a fully live Acute Hospital facility, with no disruption to services allowable. In order to ensure the continued operation of the Hospital, a high level of management, safety, noise and vibration control, dust and infection control procedures will be required on site, with the needs of the patients, staff and visitors considered at all times. The Main Contractor will be responsible for the duties of Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS). The Main Contractor will be required to comply with the Code of Practice for Inspecting and Certifying Buildings and works as defined in SI No. 9 of 2014 Building Control (Amendment) Regulations. Tendering Contractors are to include performing the role as Main Contractor and PSCS, and for completing all works detailed and outlined within the full suite of tender documents (including but not limited to Demolition/ Alterations; Diversion of Services; Necessary temporary works; Mechanical Installations; Electrical Installations; Builders Works; Phasing; Safety & Health; All necessary coordination and Management).
