C380 (2023) - Manufacture and Supply of Informational Signage

NIE Networks intends to undertake a procurement process to manufacture and supply a range of signage to be used with wood poles, in sub-stations, offices, depots and across the whole NIE Networks infrastructure and this PIN is to undertake market engagement to feed in to that process. Lot 1: The objective is for NIE Networks to gain a greater understanding of the signage market and explore opportunities with economic operators(s) NIE Networks would like to invite interested economic operators to separate market engagement meetings to view and discuss samples of the NIE Networks signage and specifications which may include: 1. Aluminium based signage 2. Flexible Reinforced Plastic Boards with vinyl coatings 3. Waterproof papers 4. Vitreous enamel coated steel signs 5. Adhesive tapes Suppliers should register their interest via email to orla.donnelly@nienetworks.co.uk or through the secure messaging portal of this project by 9 January 2023 providing the names of a maximum of 3 people who will attend. It is anticipated the meetings will take place on 6 February 2023. Information from these meetings may be used to add to the procurement strategy. Suppliers must also provide a short description of your experience in this area. NIE Networks reserves the right to shortlist attendees on the basis of direct relevant experience in this area. In addition, in the event of the Supplier Information Event being over subscribed NIE Networks may restrict the total number of attendees. The procurement for the requirements will be launched under a separate process. Please note a separate Call for Competition in form of FTS Contract Notice will be published. Any interested parties will still be required to apply separately when launched and expressing an interest in the market engagement shall in no way be accepted as registering an interest. Additionally, expressing an interest in the market engagement will not be a prerequisite in relation to the future tender competition. Please note this is not a Call for Competition.
