Boat Skipper and vessel maintenance 2023-2027 _Supplier engagement session

Tender description

Natural Resources Wales Requires a framework contract for period of 4 years for the supply of a vessel skipper for our 12m cabined jet-drive RIB Pedryn. They will provide a skippering service for us during periods of fieldwork which may usually be approximately 50-80 days per annum. They will ensure the boat is in good working order (in line with the appropriate Maritime and Coastguard Agency Standards - MGN280) and is prepared and ready for survey. An experienced skipper with experience of working in Welsh waters. They will have experience of operating vessels around people in the water eg SCUBA diving operations. They will have the necessary skills to be able to perform day to day maintenance on our vessel Pedryn, (engines, hydraulics, jets and electrics) and be able to problem solve and resolve minor issues should they arise. Specialist engine and marine electrical engineers would be contracted separately by NRW to carry out services and fault repair Supplier engagement session for this requirement will be held in January, Please refer to additional information section.
