Tender description

The work involves both internal and external refurbishment of the ground and second floor accommodation in and adjacent to the Diamond Hall on the University of Ulster's Coleraine Campus. The refurbished facility is to provide a Student Union and Common Room on ground floor and corporate meeting space on second floor. The project will be undertaken during term time on a live site with significant constraints placed on the contractor over a short contract period. Specific elements of the works include demolition and alterations; asbestos removal; structural elements; replacement glazing; roofing repairs; interior finishes; and strip, alteration and or replacement of existing mechanical and electrical systems in conjunction with proposed works.
