Tender description

This project involves development of a series of recreational walking upland trails at three separate locations namely, Gortarowey (Dartry Mountain Range /Ben Bulben), Knocknarea and Union Wood in Co. Sligo. All three locations are situated primarily within Coillte controlled land with support access, car parking and ancillary facilities are located on adjacent public /private lands. This project is funded under the Border Uplands Project (BUP). The BUP is a cross-border, tourism development project, between the Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN), Fermanagh District Council, Cavan County Council, Leitrim County Council and Sligo County Council. The Project is funded under the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Programme managed by the Special EU Programme Body (SEUPB).
