WHSCT Upgrade LV Switch Panel/Generator Nurse Blk at Altnagelvin

Tender description

The Project is for the supply, installation and commissioning of a new Low Voltage switch panel and associated Synchronising Generator, to be located at the Nurses Accomodation block in Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Londonderry. The new switch panel will replace the existing switch panel and will be located in the existing generator room, a new generator will be supplied, this will be housed in a new vandalproof acoustic enclosure. This enclosure will be sited adjacent to the nurses home building. The emergency back up power supply will include coverage for the breast screening clinical area. The work must be programmed to ensure minimal disruption to the Nurses Accomodation block, Anderson House and Breast Screening. The contractor must liaise with Trust estates staff to agree a programme for the works. The contractor shall include for the removal and disposal of all existing redundant plant. The contract will include for all alterations to existing services to accommodate the complete project. The contractor will also ensure there is minimum disruption to the end user.
