Tender description

The project is for the refurbishment of rooms within the existing cardiology department at Altnagelvin Hospital. The works include: • Internal refurbishment of two en-suite bedrooms into a new catheterisation laboratory. • Enabling works for the installation of new catheterisation laboratory equipment. The works are located on the first floor of the south block of Altnagelvin Hospital. New laboratory equipment will be provided and installed by a specialist contractor under a separate contract. The successful contractor will be required to work in close liaison with the equipment supplier to ensure the efficient delivery of the complete project. The contract period will be 14 weeks. The project will be required to be completed, commissioned and handed over by the end of April 2014. Clinical staff and services are working to these critical dates.
