WHSCT - LAKEVIEW HOSPITAL RECONFIGURATION OF BROOKE & STRULE WARDS

Tender description

The Project is for the proposed reconfiguration of Brooke and Strule Wards, Lakeview Hospital, Gransha Park. The works are aimed at reconfiguring the ward to provide an 8 bed assessment and treatment facility with a 2 bed intensive support unit (PICU) for patients with learning difficulties. The works are positioned within the Lakeview Hospital Complex and the facility will be occupied for the duration of the works. Only the wards in which the works are taking place will be vacated for the duration of the works. The works must be designed and phased in such a way as to cause the minimum amount of disruption to the adjacent wards, support services & the overall Gransha Site. Lakeview Hospital is located on the fully operational hospital site of Gransha Park; the site has a mixture of psychiatric, administration, transport & ground maintenance facilities. It is anticipated that complex mechanical and electrical services, including medical gases, will be required as part of the works.
