WHSCT Framework for Building Maintenance and Minor Building Works

Tender description

The Western Health and Social Care Trust (the Contracting Authority) wishes to appoint one Economic Operator to enter into a framework for the provision of Minor Building Works and Building Maintenance Works (including reactive and planned maintenance) for the Western Trust Estate. The frameworks may incorporate Mechanical and Electrical Building Services, Civil Engineering, Roofing, Flooring, Windows, Painting, Glazing Works and other related specialist works. It is a condition of the framework agreement that the Economic Operator shall make provision to have available any works required 24 hours per day and 365 days per year (including all weekends and all holiday periods). For the purposes of the Framework Agreement works are defined as any Building Maintenance or Minor Works Scheme with a cost of between £1.00 and £100,000.00. Minor works schemes may comprise new buildings, extensions to existing buildings, conversion/refurbishment of existing buildings, works to ensure compliance with various legislative requirements, e.g. legionella, fire safety, DDA, asbestos regulations, mechanical and electrical engineering works and enabling works in advance of major capital works schemes.
