WHSCT - DESIGN TEAM APPOINTMENT FOR GROVE HOUSE REFURBISHMENT

Tender description

The WHSCT are seeking to appoint a design team for the proposed refurbishment of Grove House, Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital, Omagh The refurbishment will provide accommodation for the consolidation of ICT Resources within the Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital Site. The building will be vacant throughout the duration of the works. Building The works will primarily involve replacement of the roof fabric, replacement of windows and doors and complete re-decoration throughout. Mechanical The work will primarily involve the installation of a heating system, installation of replacement mains, hot and cold water services to the existing water assets. It will be necessary to removal all redundant pipework in line with legislative guidance and hospital policy. Electrical The work will involve the complete replacement of all electrical services. All work must be carried out in line with legislative guidance. It is essential that the works be designed and phased in such a way as to cause the minimum amount of disruption to the live hospital site.
