WHSCT - DESIGN TEAM APPOINTMENT FOR ADMIN BUILDING REFURBISHMENT

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of consultancy services as follows: The WHSCT are seeking to appoint a design team for the proposed fit out and refurbishment of part of the Admin Building, Altnagelvin Hospital to provide additional administration space (offices). It is essential that the works be designed and phased in such a way as to cause the minimum amount of disruption to the occupied areas of the Administration Building. The WHSCT confirm that the following consultants will be required to form part of the design team; • Lead Consultant – Architect OR Building Surveyor • Electrical Engineer • Mechanical Engineer • Structural Engineer • Quantity Surveyor • CDM Coordinator Schedules of duties for these consultants will be included in the ITT. It is anticipated that the lead consultant (contract administrator) will be the Architect OR Building Surveyor. The contract period (for consultant services) is 8 months, November 2015 – June 2016, not including the defects liability period.
