Tender description

The Council's Business and Enterprise Team require an economic development specialist(s) with experience in the enterprise space / affordable work space and business support sectors. Working closely with the Council and external enterprise space partners, this role will assist the Council to invest in and provide practical support to new and existing enterprise space projects that are geared towards supporting hundreds of start-ups and early stage businesses across a variety of sectors. The work requires (a) thorough understanding of the enterprise space / affordable work space market; (b) local authority commissioning processes and investment techniques to secure best value; (c) fundraising experience; and (d) the ability to support business planning and financial forecasting. The work will be required over the remainder of 2015/16 and 2016/17.
