W002-2012 Greenyard Primary Medical Services

Tender description

NHS West Essex currently provide primary medical services at Greenyard Practice with GP, nurse and HCA sessions. The PCT require a suitably able and qualified provider to assume responsibility for delivering primary medical care services to the population of Greenyard Practice and the surrounding areas. This is a PCTMS practice based in Waltham Abbey and patients currently registered at the practice number approximately 2,800. The PCT is undertaking a ring-fenced procurement process for existing providers within West Essex. In effect this will mean that only existing West Essex practices have the opportunity to submit a bid to take on the Greenyard practice as a branch, in addition to their existing contract with the PCT for the provision of Primary Medical Services. Bidders are now required to download all documentation and prepare their bid submission. Bid responses must be submitted in accordance with the timetable detailed in Volume 1: Process Overview and Bidder Guidance.
