Tender description
Northern Ireland Railways Company Ltd (NIR) intend to appoint 3 Contractors under a Framework Contract in order to participate in mini-competitions to undertake all Vegetation Management and Tree cutting, trimming and removal of trees adjacent to the Railway line including surrounding third party properties and other Translink sites. As part of the tender for the Framework Contract a Term Service contract will be tendered for where work of a Time Charge basis will be undertaken. Works are expected to start under this contract at the end of January 2012. Framework is envisaged to run for two years with an option of two single year extensions. The maintenance contract is run for a single year with an option of three single year extensions.
