Tender description
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is seeking the services of an organisation to provide skilled and experienced valuers of antiques and works of art. The FCO requires valuation of its furniture, carpets, architectural fittings such as chandeliers, silverware, glassware and china, tapestries, sculptures, decorative arts and paintings held at its overseas estate. The work will comprise of an initial desk-top study, followed by a rolling visits programme over a maximum five year period. The FCO intends to hold a supplier day in London on 6 December 2012. All interested suppliers will need to register their interest on the FCO’s procurement portal by no later than 17:00 hours (GMT) on Friday, 30 November 2012.
