Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Tender description

On behalf of the English and Scottish Ambulance Service we are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers of uniform and PPE. To register an interest in this procurement potential suppliers must complete and upload a completed PQQ before the deadline. The purpose of the PQQ is to short-list a number of suitably qualified bidders who will be invited to submit a tender for the supply of Uniform and Personal Protective Equipment. The ITT will be split into four lots; Lot 1 - Staff Uniform, to include but not be limited to; Shirts, Trousers, Hi-Visibility jackets, fleeces, epaulettes, t-shirts, polo shirts, and sweatshirts. Lot 2 - PPE - footwear Lot 3 - PPE - helmets Lot4 - PPE - other It is envisaged that one supplier will provide all of the items in Lot 1. Lots 2, 3, & 4 may be provided by more that one supplier, and this could be the same supplier as Lot 1. Lot 1 will require a fully managed serviced. This will encompass the need to provide 'sizing sets', an electronic ordering process, management of stock, distribution and delivery, and monitoring returns and re-ordering. Lots 2, 3, & 4 will be purchased on a more routine basis but suppliers will be expected to hold stock of key lines of PPE. Should the same supplier be successful with both lots the electronic ordering system may be used for Lots 2, 3 or 4. The Ambulance Service currently clothe in excess of 20,000 staff and a majority of these have their uniform replaced on a fair-wear-and-tear basis
