Tender description
This procurement is to deliver a European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 & any required Global System for Mobile Communications for Railway (GSM-R) upgrade on the Transpennine Route (Manchester Victoria to Leeds) with envisaged transitions of approximately Stalybridge & Cottingley, controlled from the relevant Rail Operating Centre. The location of the required transition is yet to be confirmed & may be to the East or West of Stalybridge.
