Topographical Survey Services for Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry Renewals Project Phase 2 Please note PQQ Closing Date and Time of 12 noon on Wednesday 29 May 2013 Translink is now (May 2013) about to begin the Design Stage of the Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry Renewals Phase 2 Project. This is principally a Signalling and Telecoms Project however it is anticipated to have a significant amount of Civil Engineering works associated with it on lands adjacent to Bellarena Station. There will also be some road works surrounding the level crossing at Bellarena Station. At Castlerock station the Up Platform (the platform towards the sea) is to be extended also as a part of this Project. To advance the design process Translink wishes to procure a Topographical Surveyor to carryout survey work at the above areas during Summer 2013. The Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry Railway Line is located in the North West of Northern Ireland. The anticipated value of the topographical Survey works is £10,000 to £15,000. The topographical services will include:- • Site Walkover with Translink in advance of survey • Survey of agricultural lands adjacent to the railway line at Bellarena. • Survey of the carriageway on the Seacoast road at Bellarena for approximately 0.25miles on either sides of the level crossing. • Survey of the existing station area in Bellarena. • Co-ordination and amalgamation of this new survey with a Master Survey of the Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry Line which was carried out in 2008/09 and which is the base line survey for the Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry Line Programme. • Provision of the survey information in Auto-Cad format to Translink. • Fortnightly progress meetings with Translink.
