Tender description

This is a research placement opportunity to work alongside a high profile policy area in the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). Applications are invited from researchers interested in an analysis and knowledge transfer role within an inter-disciplinary team of social scientists in Defra’s across a number of policy directorates. Defra is a significant investor in research and evidence and the successful applicant will undertake policy-relevant research and, importantly, facilitate the sharing of knowledge and expertise between academia and government. This flexible placement will be part funded by Defra and the applicant’s research institution (based on matched-funding or funding in-kind) the successful applicant will remain employed by his/her institution.
