The Supply of New and Overhauled Electrical and Mechanical Units

Tender description

Translink requires competent suppliers to supply either new or overhauled electrical and mechanical units. Tenderers are by participating and submitting bids warranting that their submission(s) are unequivocally of equitable (or greater) quality in that such submission(s) meet the material, dimensional, performance and reliability as the referenced OEM item(s). Translink reserves the right to seek from the Tenderer documentary evidence that such claims can be independently verified and validated and the onus remains solely with the Tenderer to provide suitable evidence. Successful Tenderers MUST within Four Calendar Weeks of award provide to Translink an electronic catalogue detailing each part offered referenced to the Translink part number; The OEM part number and the Tenderers part number if different. As part of the conditions of Tender Tenderers MUST provide, either directly or through its supply chain, a minimum of 3 Person Weeks of work experience or employment opportunities for an Unemployed Person(s), per 12-month contract period, to be arranged through an appropriate Northern Ireland Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) [or jurisdictional equivalent] supported programme.
