G/288/TR-OP/13/SR- Contract for Maintenance of Beds and Mattresses and the Purchase of Mattresses. The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large district General Hospital. The Trust (COCH) requires a contract for the Maintenance of Beds and Mattresses and the Purchase of Static and Pressure Relieving Mattresses. The Invitation to Tender will be divided into 5 lots as follows: LOT 1 - Purchase of Pressure Relieving Mattresses – Medium to High Risk LOT 2 - Purchase of Pressure Relieving Mattresses – High to Very High Risk LOT 3 - Purchase of Static Mattresses LOT 4 - Maintenance of Beds LOT 5 - Maintenance of Mattresses The contract is for a 3 year duration with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months. Please note The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust reserves the right not to award the maintenance of beds and mattresses and to provide this as an in house service should this be a more cost effective option.
