Termination of Pregnancy Services in Norfolk

NHS Norfolk is seeking to commission a one stop shop termination of pregnancy service to include self-referrals, pre and post termination counselling, a full post termination contraceptive service, and the entire range of procedures up to the legal gestational limit. The TOP service(s) is being commissioned on behalf of the following CCGs: • Norwich • North Norfolk • South Norfolk • West Norfolk and will therefore include provision for the former Norfolk PCT geographical area only. NHS Norfolk wishes to receive expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers with the necessary capacity and capability (or a demonstrable ability to provide the necessary capacity and capability) to provide value for money Termination of Pregnancy Services in a safe and effective manner. NHS Norfolk and Waveney Commissioning Support Services (NHS N&W CSS) is conducting this procurement exercise on behalf of NHS Norfolk and will be the initial point of contact for all communication during the procurement. The associated documents relating to this procurement (MOI) will be available on BRAVO (please see link below) by 23rd August 2012. All responses MUST be submitted via BRAVO by 5:00 13th September 2012. The services to which this notice relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3, Part 10 of the Public Services Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) ("the Regulations"). Neither the publication of this notice nor the employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the contracting authorities intend to hold themselves bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to Part B services.
