Tender description

Mid and East Antrim Council, one of eleven new councils in Northern Ireland, will assume responsibility for the services of three existing councils – Ballymena Borough Council, Carrickfergus Borough Council and Larne Borough Council - as well as a new range of functions, from 1 April 2015. In preparing for 1st April, the Council is working to ensure key back office systems are in place and fit for delivery of services, communications and ICT systems across the Mid and East Antrim Council’s network in order to deliver a coordinated and effective modern service. The Council wishes to implement a resilient network across all it sites with appropriate internet connectivity and next generation firewalls as part of its ICT convergence plan.
