Tender for Area Development Programme - Cultural Awareness

Tender description

Newtownabbey Borough Council, on behalf of the CAN Peace III Partnership, wishes to invite tenders from a suitably experienced organisation or consortium of organisations to deliver the Cultural Awareness and Relationship Building element of the Area Development Programme in relation to the CAN Peace III Partnership Strategy. It is anticipated that this programme will include a series of programmes and events in each of the target areas which develop a greater awareness and understanding of their own and other cultures. Many locally based groups work on themes relevant to this programme on a regular basois. The Cultural Awareness and Relationship Building Programme aims to recognise the work of these groups and to fully engage them in the delivery of the programme. Sustainable learning and relationship building must be a key outcome of all work undertaken under the Area Development Programme. Therefore, it is crucial that the Cultural Awareness and Relationship Building Programme is informed and delivered in conjunction with key stakeholders in each area.
