Tender description

The BBC seeks to contract for bulk mail collection, sortation and delivery services to consumers and business in UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man from a single Service Provider. Collection of mailings need to be made from the BBC’s appointed fulfilment provider (presently situated in Merseyside, UK). An expected maximum of 60M mail items per annum. Volumes dependent upon direct mail, volumes which may vary. The contract is for an initial term of 1 October 2013 to 31 March 2016. Followed by 2 possible extensions of 6 months on each occasion (i.e. the maximum contract term will be 42 months).
