T313 Provision of Tree Cutting Services

Tender description

NIE wishes to appoint Tenderers to enter into separate Framework Agreements for the provision of Services and Works in Relation to Tree Cutting for Transmission and Distribution Overhead Lines. Tree cutting works will be carried out at various locations throughout Northern Ireland on all voltages up to and including 275kV and will include tree cutting for new build, refurbishment, storm escalation and fault & emergency work. The contract is for a period of four years with the option, exercisable exclusively by NIE, to extend the contract for up to a further one year. The works shall be divided into Lots as follows: Lot 1: North Lot 2: South NIE will determine the most economically advantageous tenderer for each lot. One tenderer could be awarded one or more lots. The total value of the framework is estimated at 7 500 000 GBP for the four-year period (9 500 000 GBP if extended to five years)
