Systems Integration Framework Agreement - Temporary Sport Production Facilities

Framework Agreement roster for temporary production systems and facilities required to capture, produce and distribute the BBC’s content within broadcast and media production facilities. Responsible for end-to-end integration of systems, services and facilities to deliver outputs that meet BBC requirements. Includes hardware, software and network integration, as required by each project. Lot 1 Integrate small and medium scale systems (up to £1m, up to 1 year) Up to 5 project opportunities in total across the Framework lifespan Small events, for example, remote production facilities for a Winter Olympics; Commonwealth Games; European Football Championships Typically 8 to 15 racks of equipment, <6 Edit Stations, and associated Production Office. Lot 2 Integrate large scale systems (£1m to £5m, 1 to 4 years) Up to 3 project opportunities in total across the Framework lifespan Large events, for example, onsite production facility for a Summer Olympics, or a single-site World Cup Typically 40-60 racks, Gallery/Galleries, full Post Production facilities, and substantial Production Office. Responsibilities, subject to each project may include: • design in line with BBC policies (e.g. information security, environmental, accessibility) • Installation, maintenance and operation documentation • equipment supply • physical installation • systems interoperability and interfacing • integration with existing and BBC-supplied equipment and systems • configuration • commissioning • test • training • handover including delivery of asset information in line with BBC standards • health & safety management • post-implementation review • project management of the delivery of the systems integrator’s responsibilities The requirement is to be procured by means of a Framework Agreement divided into 2 lots, with 8 places on each lot, those of whom will be invited to take part in the relevant RFQ/call-off competitive procedures
