Tender description

The Awarding Authority is seeking to procure perpetual licences for an existing ‘off the shelf’ market ready solution. Installation services and initial configuration of the solution, maintenance upgrades, support, training with related documentation and consultancy services relevant to this procurement are related requirements. The national perpetual licence which allows the Awarding Authority to host, manage and develop integration solutions which connect both national and locally hosted systems. The Awarding Authority currently provides an integration service to Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Local Health Board and Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board, therefore the national licence provision will need to take this into consideration. The option for perpetual licences to be procured by all other LHB’s who wish to host, manage and develop their own integration solutions without direct NWIS involvement, but utilising the same toolset for national consistency is also an option. The Awarding Authority seeks a contractual arrangement for a period of 5 years in the first instance, with an option of two possible extensions of 12 months each up to a maximum term of 7 years.
