Tender description

The intention for the forthcoming contract is to award it on a Multi-Supplier Framework basis following a competitive tender exercise. The scope of the contract will include both single use and reusable devices and consumables, set out in the following categories:  LAPROSCOPIC ACCESSORIES  e.g. Specimen Bags, Wound Protectors  LAPROSCOPIC DEVICES  e.g. Staplers, Clip Appliers  LAPROSCOPIC HERNIA REPAIR & FIXATION  e.g. Tacking guns  LAPROSCOPIC INSTRUMENTS  e.g. Graspers, Dissectors, Scissors  LAPROSCOPIC INSUFFLATION  e.g. Tubing, Needles  OPEN SURGICAL DEVICES  e.g. Staplers, Clip Appliers  TROCAR  all permutations  TROCAR ACCESS SYSTEM  new technology for Minimally Invasive Surgery Please note that this list is not exhaustive, a revised product list is available as an attachment to this listing. The framework will be let on behalf of Health Boards in Wales who have facilties for Open and Laproscopic surgical procedures, and run for a period of 4 years.
