Tender description

Translink’s Infrastructure Division is responsible for maintaining Northern Ireland Railways’ (NIR) network comprising some 210 route miles (300 track miles). Within Infrastructure Division the Permanent Way Department is responsible for the maintenance and provision of main line track (jointed and CWR), S&C, sidings and line side assets. Translink Permanent Way Department wish to appoint a suitably qualified Economic Operator to supply and deliver railway switching and crossing elements for installation to the Northern Ireland railways network. The supply contract will run for a single year with a further optional single year extension or to a maximum value of £300,000-00.
