Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process for the proposed tender for the Design, Supply and Delivery of mechanical bearings. There are 12 number mechanical bearings required for Drogheda and these have to be delivered in early 2015. Iarnród Éireann is proposing to provide loadings and details of the existing bearings to a bearing provider so that they can price for the design, manufacturer, delivery and provision of attendances during the installation. The installation will be undertaken by the IE Bridge Gang. The bearing manufacturer will be required to attend site and take all dimensions necessary for the manufacturer of the bearings and then use these details in their design. These would be bespoke bearings for this location. The design of these bearings will be approved by IE prior to fabrication and installation. All Applicants wishing to be considered for the tender shortlist must complete the Pre-Qualfication Questionnaire which is appended to this notice in its entirety enclosing all necessary supporting documentation.
