Supply, Installation and Maintenance of CCTV Equipment Please note the PQQ Submission Return Date of 1500 hours on Tuesday 23 August 2011. Translink is committed to creating a safe and secure environment for staff and passengers alike. In pursuance of this objective Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is one of the most powerful tools to be developed during recent years to assist with the efforts to combat crime and disorder whilst enhancing staff and passenger safety. At present Translink have 55 locations with CCTV systems, this is expanding year on year. The vast majority of these systems have recording DVR’s manufactured by Dowshu and are either 16 or 32 way units with accompanying Sanyo cameras. These systems are continually being upgraded and have varying types of cameras i.e. colour, black and white, PTZ etc. The aim of this tender exercise is to establish a Framework Agreement with three contractors for a period of 12 months with 3 further annual extension options. The Most Economically Advantageous Tender from the framework tenders will be awarded a 12 month Term Maintenance Contract for CCTV systems across the network. For the duration of the CCTV Framework Agreement, those qualifying contractors may be invited to tender for CCTV capital works installation requirements either directly to Translink or a s a named or nominated subcontractor.
