Supply, Delivery and Installation of New Office Furniture and Associated Items

SONI Ltd has the responsibility of ensuring the safe, secure and economic operation of the high voltage electricity system in Northern Ireland. It is regulated by the Northern Ireland Utility Regulation (UReg). SONI holds the licence as independent electricity Transmission System Operator (TSO) in Northern Ireland and is a wholly owned subsidiary of EirGrid plc. As Transmission System Operator, SONI is responsible for operating the Northern Ireland grid, which carries out the intricate task of seeking to match electricity production to customer demand. SONI’s objective is to operate the transmission system in the most economical manner, consistent with safety, security, continuity, quality and environmental standards. Due to substantial business growth, SONI wish to build a new office block linked to Castlereagh House, carry out refurbishment works to Castlereagh House and extend the car park to facilitate an increase in staff numbers. This project will also require the supply, delivery and installation of new office furniture and associated items for the new and refurbished office blocks.
